Multi-timer
Several things in one sitting, each with its own block of time. A sound hands you from one to the next, and rings inside rings show where you are.
You sit down with an hour and three things to do. The first one tends to take the whole hour, and the other two wait for a day that does not come. Here you give each one a block of time, press Start, and a sound hands you on from one to the next at the right moment. Each gets its share, and you still have something left for the last one.
Ways to use it
- A workout. 1:00 on, 0:30 off, ten rounds.
- A long stretch of work. 50 minutes of work, a 10 minute break, until you stop it.
- One hour, three tasks. Split it by halves: the biggest task first, then half of that, then half again.
- An evening. Reading, a lesson, a stretch, each with its own block, once through.
The dial
One ring per block, the outer ring first. The current ring fills as its time passes and turns amber in its last minute. The browser tab shows the time too, so it stays in view from another window.
